Rolland-9104 Class A Black Rock bound

Rolland heard about Family RV and our rentals at Quick Essentially Yours.  Rolland is from New York and met his friends from British Columbia, Calgary Canada and another from LA.  They are heading out to Black Rock, to the Burning Man yearly event.  We were able to capture their arriving pictures in a cab and getting checked out.  All of us at Family RV wish them a safe and enjoyable trip.

Visiting from Italy the Giovanni family had 3 weeks of fun

Chatting with Gierardi and his family they expressed the fun and adventure they had traveling around the western USA.

I asked them to list for us their travels while here in California; here is what they shared with me.
Start 8/8/2011
Sequoia National Park
Yosemite (2Days)
Mono Lake
Las Vegas (To many crazy people, we appreciate small villages)
Bryce Canyon
Powell Lake
Meteor Crater (in Flagstaff)
Grand Canyon
Phoenix (we visited buildings and enjoyed the architecture)
Las Angeles & the beaches
Big Sur (being from Italy the roads were like home no problem for me to maneuver)
Finished 8/27/11 Total 3610 Miles

Thanks for sharing with us you family vacation. I am sure you and your family have many wonderful and memorable stories to tell about each place you visited.

Tues 8/16 - Morro Dunes RV Park / Morro Bay - Dinner @ Harbor Hut (thumbs up!)

The trip of a lifetime! by Steve

Steve rented a Class C Tioga 23 foot motor home from July 30 to August 6, 2011 for a trip with his family.  They traveled 1400 miles and had a story to tell

"The trip of a lifetime!
Crater Lake OR, Lassen Cinder Cone and the Lava Beds all in one week with 3 kids and they loved it. This trip was only possible in an RV and Family RV was by far the best option and extremely service oriented. Personalized attention and meticulously maintained vehicles. Mack was especially great. Thanks Alan and team! See you next time. "

All of us at Family RV want to say thank you, for it is the families like yours that makes our reason to be here.  Family, friends and enjoying our beautiful country side.
We appreciate the business and look forward to serving you again.

GREAT WAY TO SEE COUNTRY

Kathy and her husband chose to take their trip it has 2 skide outs
and lots of space and sleeping while traveling. Their first stop was Lake Tahoe.

After visitng Lake Tahoe we headed for Kanab UT.

We then Started hitting the National Parks:
Grand Canyon,
Nearly five million people see the 1 mile deep (1.6 km) Grand Canyon each year. Most of them see it from their car at overlooks along the South Rim (this includes Grand Canyon Village, Hermits Rest, and Desert View). The South Rim is the most accessible part of the park and is open all year.
A much smaller number of people see the Canyon from the North Rim, which lies just 10 miles / 16 km (as the condor flies) directly across the Canyon from the South Rim. The North Rim rises a thousand feet higher than the South Rim, and is much less accessible. Heavy snows close the road to the North Rim from late October to mid May of each year. Even in good weather it's harder to get to. It is 220 miles / 354 km by car from the South Rim, or 21 miles / 34 km by foot across the Canyon by way of the North and South Kaibab Trails.

Bryce
What is Bryce Canyon? Words confound when no comparable exist. A cave without a ceiling? A forest of stone? Even 'canyon' is misleading since Bryce is carved by freeze-thaw cycles, not a river. Yet, 'world's largest pothole' is neither adequate nor flattering. Tour this Website, and you’ll be enticed to visit Bryce in person. Once here, perhaps you'll agree with those who say, ‘Bryce is a Bryce!’

Zion
Massive canyon walls ascend toward a brilliant blue sky. To experience Zion, you need to walk among the towering cliffs, or challenge your courage in a small narrow canyon. These unique sandstone cliffs range in color from cream, to pink, to red. They could be described as sand castles crowning desert canyons.

Moab
Moab will surround you with the warmth and hospitality of a small resort town at the center of some of the most stunning red rock landscapes on Earth.

Yellowstone
Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America's first national park. Located in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, it is home to a large variety of wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. Preserved within Yellowstone National Park are Old Faithful and a collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers and hot springs, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

Heading to Sears Point to see NHRA

My girl friend and I with my grandson headed out to Sear Point Raceway to NRHA Dragway, on the way to the event my motorhome began running rough so I stopped in at SeeGrins Motor Homes. SeeGrins reffered me to Family RV to get a rental. We called and Family RV had no problem setting us up in a great rental.

My nasme is Rick and I visited with them when they returned, they told me that their grandson had the best time of his year spent a lot of time with his freinds got to go down into the pits, set at the start line with their gas masks and ear plugs.
