What would this be worth? Priceless!!!

How much would this experience be worth? You can't put a price on it, spending time with your family and in this family small children. Thanks to the Worrell Family sometimes we need to step back and see where is the real value of our efforts.

Saga of a 13-Day RV Owner and Family Vacation

I made the leap this year and I took my family on a 13-day, 3,039-mile RV trip in a 31' Class C Winnebago. We visited all the of awesome Western U.S.A. Canyons!

We departed July 28th at 2 AM, and our first destination was the Grand Canyon. On our way, we stopped in Oatman, a nice little town, where the temperature was 110 degrees and watched burrows and cowboys in the streets. We camped that evening in
Williams Town. The next morning we arrived at the Grand Canyon. And, it's just as the say ...very Grand. We hiked down and up the Bright Angel Trail, visited the IMAX theater, and then did more siteseeing.

The next was a normal day... got up early, had breakfast, traveled and hiked, camped where we wanted, made no reservations, had no exact plan, just had fun with the family and took in the the sites. It's nice to be able to do what you want, when you want! Eat out, eat in, have a peanut butter sandwich, eat leftovers, or have a big meal at a fine restaurant... whatever! This was one of our finest vacations ever, and one of the most affordable.
Here is where we went: Oatmann, Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sunset Crater and Wupatki Village, Monument Valley, Mexican Hat then to Mexican Water and then on to Four Corners, Cortez, Colorado, Mesa Verde National Park, Durango, Ouray, Gunnison National Forest, Moab, Colorado into Utah, Arches National Park, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef National Park, Torrey, Bryce Canyon, Dixie National Forest and Escalante Shelf, Zion National Park, Las Vegas, California and stopped in Calico, Lake Isabella for our last night. Kern River, Sequoia National Forest and back home to San Jose.
Instead of placing all our pictures I linked to the websites. Enjoy we did!!

Comparing travel experiences
Vacationing in an RV can best be described as a love it, or hate it experience. Having an RV that is well maintained so that it does not cause you problems on the trip is clearly part of the equation. The other part of the equation is the family and friends. Will they get along? Will they agree on where to go? What will it be like?
From first hand experience just completed, I can truly say that our family loved it. The Winnebago motorhome took us where we wanted to go in style, and we made decisions on the fly... where to go, how long to stay and what to see! On this trip, we made more friends, and got to know more people than even those on our own street.

Frequently, after taking a planned vacation, family and friends will tell us of their experiences, whether it be by plane, train, car, RV, etc.

Trips to Hawaii, Mexico, Europe, Africa are made normally made by plane. These plane trips are the ones I have heard the most problems with, long security lines, delayed or canceled flights, poor accommodations, and more. Our family has taken many of these trips and have also encountered similar problems, but it still ends up as an okay trip... but typically expensive!

Canada, Alaska, Mexico and touring the USA by RV seems to be one of the best ways to travel from my own personal experience. After being in the RV industry since 1985, I have heard thousands of great stories of sights and events, and seen pictures of proof. Canyons, mountains, ballooning, fishing, biking, motor cycle off road and on road riding, race events, concerts, church events, river rafting, etc. There's so much to do and see while RVing. I am always amazed why not more people have done it. Try it! You may fall in love with it as I did back in 1985. Perhaps you'll start an RV business so you can always be part of it as I did!

Family RV... We're always here to address all of your RV needs.
Well we look forward to seeing you for service, rentals or to buy an RV at a great price.

Once again, after the rental high season, we will be detailing and preparing units for you to purchase and use, or to lease back to us to rent out for you. Look at our site frequently for the RV that works for you!

Please enjoy the summer!
