"My first RV rental/trip, and I had a great experience with Family RV for my two kids, a grandma, and a few pop-ins.  Winter rental rates were very reasonable, I got a big Class-C (more RV than I could have gotten from Cruise America), and everything worked.  

When I picked it up, it was cleaned, prepped, tested, and the fridge was already cold (thanks, Steve).  There's plenty of paperwork to do, but they took me through it quickly and professionally (thanks Justin).  Online reservations were straightforward, but I'm a newbie so I called and they took care of everything over the phone (thanks, Donna).  They're serious about insurance so if you don't want to use theirs it's worth checking with your own insurance company ahead of time to make sure they provide the written verification of coverage.  If there's more than one driver, you'll need all of them to do this, too.  

They let me know ahead of time that I needed to make arrangements to have the RV cleaned inside and out when I returned it.  They'll do it for a (high) hourly service fee.  I did it myself, but at the end of a trip it would have been awfully nice to have the cleaning included for a more reasonable and predictable amount.  My first night there were a couple of things I wasn't sure about.  The person who had briefed me on how to operate it provided his cell number just in case.  I sent him a non-urgent text at about 11:45 PM not needing or expecting a call that night.  Steve called me back within ten minutes, walked me through the couple of questions I had, and walked me through a few more items just to be helpful.  It boosted my confidence and made the trip go very smoothly."

Comments were "Put about 1,000 miles on RV, on a trip to Anza Borrego Desert south of LA. Great weather- wonderful trip. Very nice having a queen bed and bathroom in camp." Survey stated they were recommended by friends.

The Hodgkins Family did an Internet search and rented this RV from us. Upon return they commented where they went " Bodegaga Bay, Sacramento, Groveland/Jamestown and finally Atwater. Thanks Family RV we had a great time."

"We went to Solvang then down to Santa Monica and Long Beach visited Queen Mary. The trip was great."

The Tuan Nguyen family rented one of our C9's Where did you go? " We spent 2 days at Fernwood/Big Sur and 2 days at Simi Valley before returning, we had a great time. Everything was good!"

Larry searched the Internet looking for this model of the Itasca IQ 24DL to rent, coming all the way from Ontario, Canada to try this floor plan. He commented on his survey, "We had great weather we enjoyed the coastal areas and the beach." "We will be back" 

He also commented in the office "The Itasca with it's Dodge Sprinter chassis and it's Mercedes 3.0 liter diesel chassis was easy to drive and going up in the mountains had plenty of power."

They took excellent care of it for us and made sure it was well maintained. Mr. Cook returned with his travel trailer he rented from us. Steve checked him in and asked him "where did you go?" Mr Cook's response was" We went to Zion, Bryce, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon, we loved our trip, several morning when woke up it was very nippy outside, but you know what, we loved our trip and would do it again." Rena stopped in today after picking up her fifth wheel last week and shared this picture with us, she took this picture while they were delivering the RV to it's new home.

Brian and Jenna rented this 2012 Travel Trailer from us for a few days, both of them are avid dirt bike riders and the fall is the perfect time for that. We asked them if they would like to purchase it before unhooking and take it home, Jenna said "we loved the trailer and would love to purchase it, but where we live, we have no place to keep it. We will be back and rent it from you a couple more times though the fall and winter"

You’ll feel like you bought this immaculate RV brand new, right off the lot. That’s because it has been very well kept for its next potential buyer. Just the right size for long trips, or quick weekend jaunts to the beach, it comes equipped with all the accommodations of home.   Hello all Wanted to tell you about my experiance buying a motorhome at
  Family RV I walked on the lot knowing what I wanted to see becasue I
  had checked there inventory online. Rick ( great guy) met me in the
  lot and we looked at the unit I was interested in. He showed me all
  around the unit and it was beautiful clean and shinny. We made the
  deal but I had no place to put the motorhome at that time. Rick
  offered to store it there on the lot till I could get a place ready
  for it. It took me about two weeks to get a place ready for the
  motorhome. They never said a word about it taking to long and never
  charged me a dime for storage. Great guys for sure. I drove it off the
  lot and Rick followed me to my home so he could return me to the lot
  to get my car. Two hours after I got home I thought I had fryed
  something in the motorhome ( My fault). I was freaking out. I called
  Family RV and talked to Alan ( the boss) He assured me that it was
  something very simple and told me to check a couple of things and if
  that didnt work then he would send someone over to check it out at no
  charge to me. I checked the things that he told me to check , found
  the problem and in less then one minute had it fixed and it worked
